Author in the winds Matt great work on your 1st blog, I was highly amused and found myself holding my breathe for your light and witty humour. Which I know you have a plethora of. If your ever keen to publish more you know Im in the book game and would be willing to help you out.
Glad to hear your doing well and just keep peddling mate will do you the world of good.
Hi chris. felt bad paying matt out and not you so thought i better write you a comment. i see you food fetish is on going. hope you had some luck getting onto orea, if not you can contact them at the following address..... http://oreo.eu/content/contact.php . Sorry i cant help with that delicious looking chinese biscuit.
what is china doing to you matt! not only are those shorts disgusting....i hope to never see them again just like your european bathers, but also they are girls thongs strappped onto your bob...i think they belong to lucie!!!!
Relieved to see some sorely missed sweeping generalisations in there Matty! Glad to hear you guys are riding strong, though not sure about all these soft sleeper busses you mention. Good to see the red jersey is getting a good workout, though may need a wash before the ladies arrive...
Housemates Rebuttal To be fair, as an ex-housemate, I wasn't too concerned for your safety (although I would be hesitant to grab on to the back of trucks myself), I was more so concerned for your parents reactions, which correct me if I'm wrong, my predictions were on the money.
For Chris Cycling with you in Laos for a couple of days was great fun.
Hope your journey will proceed without too much hassle and as safe as possible.
Enjoy!!

A bientôt
Patrick
Go Chris!! Good to hear from you again and glad that you are so enjoying your trip. Can't wait see you get into China. Take care mate.
By the way, from the picture I can tell that was a good pizza....yummy.

Pek
I am glad you felt quite "at home" in Vientiane with its French influence and pain au chocolat ( you remember the gouter at home ) and a replica ( bad copy in fact!) of l'Arc de Triomphe in Paris. We saw one in Delhi near the presidential palace and a mini tour Eiffel in Prague. Good continuation. Take care and thank for all those blogs, a great read...
glad to hear your have met Frenchies and are practising your French. You won't be losing your fluency " on the road"...
I have just discovered the slide show icon on the top right hand side and we have been able to view your very good photos in big! Thanks a lot. They are amazing and give a good "flavour " of the country. It is good you have been staying at a homestay. Love Maman
thank you for sharing your impressions with us. the photos are great, so nice and it is fun to read your impressions, a nice way of following week by week in your great adventure. Thank you so much. great pleasure each time + your weekly phone calls, texts ... I am impressed by the 65 year old cyclist couple touring Thailand while their son is travelling the region. May be a thought for us, meeting you somewhere but where ?
Keep going! And I was complaining about the rain and traffic on the M25 last night!! Thank you for sharing your unique experience and good luck for the rest of your trip.
Good luck! Wow, great to hear about your trip and jealous that you're getting to see so many interesting places (although I don't think I could manage all that biking up hills!). Good luck with the rest of the trip, am looking forward to reading all about it.
great experience and adventure. but what alot of hard work, climbing 1500m with a bike and a trailer by 40 c. Bravo! You got me worried for a minute with the hospital business. Take care Maman
