20 Degrees - Yeah We Wish! Hi Chris - at last a blog and worth the wait 'cos it has made me chuckle! Of course finding the time to write and keep us up to date must be difficult - what a hectic schedule you boys are keeping - especially in Fiji! All going great by the sounds of things but I am sorry to say that if you think 20 degrees is cold wait till you get back to Wales - we would love 20 degrees! Still not much summer weather happening here and now we have rain but that figures cos the tennis starts on Monday! Enjoy the next four weeks and keep blogging (not sure if you linked this on facebook though). Have fun and stay safe, take care in Mexico.

No time to blog? Hi Chris, nice to finally read another blog from you - obviously you have been far too busy surfing and chilling out! It sounds like you have had an amazing few weeks there with no-where near enough time to see and do all the area has to offer, but you have certainly managed to pack in some memorable experiences. Well by the time you read this both you and Si should hopefully be reunited in Fiji with lots of stories to tell and more antics to follow no doubt! Two more months to go, it seems to be flying by so enjoy yourselves, take care and be sensible in CA! (sorry - had to say it!) I fear that Si may have turned into some kind of adrenalin junkie so if you can keep his feet on the ground I would be grateful! Have fun!

Fantastic Bike trip Hi Chris we so enjoyed this blog so much, way back in the 60s we lived in Singapore for two and a half years and were keen motorcyclists. Your blog brought it all back, traffic conditions in Singapore in the 60s were very much as you describe in Indonesia to day, "what fun". Sadly back then Indonesia was "off bounds" to all, as a state of war existed between Malaysia (which briefly included Singapore) and Indonesia. Some things have changed for the better then.
Soon you will be off for that reunion in Fiji, could be fun, and then its on to Central America.
Your "Nannie" has offered Simon some very sound advice for CA I will simply reiterate much the same!! "Stay Safe" and remind Si "CA" is not "Leeds" on a Saturday night Good luck to both, God Bless. N&G R.
get off your horse and drink your milk! we watched the top gear episode the other night when they went across bolivia and chile in a range rover a jeep and something else- not nearly an endurance as your trip sounds!!! how adventerous are you! would love to have seen your dusty face after your 10 hour trek though. did you walk like john wayne when you got off your bike?!! hope the dragons live up to expectation. get that camera clicking! hopefully the journey back wont be as bad- it always takes less time going back!
keep safe and drive carefully if possible!

Dear Chris,Just read your E mails about my adventurous grandson! well done in all your encounters! I'm up in Sarnau for a couple of weeks, sun's shining on and off and quite warm when it is out. I continue with my table tennis, card playing, church events and having Kyle to stay to help him with his reading. Went to church here in Penros on Palm Sunday 6 of us we walked from the lych gate into church with our little palms aloft.I'ts great being with your family. Continue stamping around in snake areas I did in OZ1 I'm so amazed at your persistence in surfing must be a wonderful sensation! Lots of Love Nannie
to travel or not to travel........... I think travelling back and forth to the beach every day, pretty much counts as travelling in my book! Sounds great apart from the sad dog story!
have you had a shave yet or are you going the whole Robinson Crusoe effect or is it the Tom Hanks look in castaway?
Do you think you are going to be able to push yourself to move on or are you going to stay awhile more?
Our glorious Champions League run is over, we played well should of had at least 1 pen in first half hour which would have made it interesting! But then we had a Gomez moment start second half, all over, Bale, Modric and Lennon, back to form, roll on Arsenel at home next weds.
Better let you get back to the surf and me to work(I know who's got the best deal there) love Dad x
Hello ! Hi Chris, excellent comment by Tom ! Sounds idyllic, will buy my lottery ticket tonight !
Have a great time for the rest of your stay (Spurs will be out of Europe by then and Harry will be in jail !)
Cheers,
Phil
Surfs Up! Hey Chris, what an exhausting time you seem to be having - all that lying around on a surf board and sleeping in the afternoon, it sounds fab! What a shame though about the treatment of the dogs, I'm sure it was a fairly shocking incident and not something easily forgotten. Unfortunately cultures vary hugely and we of course mostly love our animals in the West - keep smiling there is good and bad where ever you go! Si too seems to be enjoying some surf - he tells me he has some dubious looking facial hair which could be a worry when he goes through customs for New Zealand! Keep blogging - we're only mildly jealous!

Hello! Dear Chris, Just read your latest adventures on the islands, exciting and scary,I too stomped around saying:"Get out of my way Snakes I have right of way!"" and they did! One just has to listen to the locals who knowhow to behave.I'm lovely and busy, enjoyed the 2 day visit of 2 aussie friends showed them Bath, open top bus Roman baths, Bath Abbey, lucky enough to listen to the rehearsal for the evening concert.I had booked to take them to supper at the Pub at the top of the road, but they treated me! Continue to have FUN, BE SAFE, Love Nannie
Brilliant Yeh, acceptable blog chris, although at the end i was still waiting for some "funny" sentence like 'send my regards to england'. Sounds amazing. x

Great Blog Hi there Chris enjoyed reading about your idyllic day. Yes we could all do with a day or two like that; however all is not gloom here as at last Spring appears to have arrived in Shropshire. Sorry to hear about the toe hope it is not too troublesome. At least with a pint being so inexpensive medication should not break the bank. Hope your solo part of the epic continues to be fun and we look forward to competitive blogs, best wishes from Si's Nan&GrandDad.
