Your comment resonates with my husband and I. We completed our first Camino Frances this year (May 5 - June 21, 2017), and cannot wait to return...it's just calling us back! Love you, Dora Your blog and pictures brought me to tears again, tears of joy and happiness. I relived my pilgrimage, without the pain. Our son, Br. Ignacio, OSB, had an extended, animated conversation with David (The Oasis of Fruit and Refreshment) about God and religion. I think he is a Universalist/Humanist. I had an emotional moment the Iron Cross, as I tossed a heart shape rock from Dora's collection, as I remembered our marital journey, before and after M.E. As I recall, the walk up and down the mountain in the Ponferrada area was the most dangerous and challenging for me; the rocks were muddy and slippery. We spent a couple of days in Santiago and took a bus day drip to Finisterre. I highly recommend it; it was well worth it. Look forward to reading your next blog. Cheers! Raul

Dora n I lovd reading it, awesome account of your week. I (Raul) got teary eyed with nostalgia reliving my 2015 Camino experience. Despite the pain, I would do it again. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I went on a 1 1/2 hr walk
on the golf course, left knee pain, got home pain shifted to right knee. It is all good. Looking forward to your next post. There are no cheaters on the Camino! All pilgrims do what they have to do, listen to your body an continue to live and enjoy the moment. With love, Raul & Dora
