Good luck! Hey Char,
Lol, great blog entry... look forward to seeing you when you get back, and hope you're not as overweight as feared (baggage I mean :p)

envious or what? Making the most of it as ever! Good for you. Some great pictures and lots of memories. How about putting all this together in your own guide to Mexico. The real world awaits in a little while!!
:) Hey Char,
sounds like you saw the pretty sights in palenque. luckily i saw the waterfalls and agua azul in peak seasons, and they were just as beautiful then! did you check out the Mayan museum?
(great pics too...and you're right, the smaller waterfall is misol ha.. )

My patience has increased dramatically, I promise not to complain about the Uk transport system again for at least a few weeks (except the price - I reserve that right 4 pounds 90p!)
Goodbye! To everyone in Guadalajara, a found adios, tchuss and bye. Hope to see you all again soon, keep in touch and stay safe. I´ll miss you all.
Char xx
Sounds like good entertainment Well that sounds like a really cheap way to be entertained! I dont know what you are complaining about! It's the real way to see life and learn the language although not I agree the views. However we are always being urged over here to get off a stop earlier and walk for 'health's sake' so here's the opportunity.
Perhaps you will have more patience however with home systems on your return though I somehow doubt it! By the way last I paid a tube fare it had gone up to £4.90!!!
I should probably mention though that they also pretty cheap. 4 pesos for as far and as long as you can stand. That´s a little less than 20p. Beats £4.60 for a trip on the London underground!
Nice entry Nice entry, when we were there we went to the oldest Cuban cigar factory too, very cool. You've got some nice photos, we got some similar ones too, feel free to check them out at
