Hi!
You get hooked to me to your adventures by santiago. I hope the rest of your trips in Chile were nice :)
If you need hotel in Santiago for next times, I recommend to have a look here:http://www.fogg.co.uk/chile/santiago-metropolitan-region/hotels-in-santiago
Best regards!
I've enjoyed your blogs... and learned some things. I assumed that since these cruises are scheduled for their summertime, that the weather would basically cooperate, allowing passengers to disembark at every scheduled stop. I want to stop at every port since I am trying to travel to 100 countries. On our cruise we will likely skip Antarctica...a long way there and back...and continue from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janero. And before Santiago, we will likely go to Lima, Cuzco, Machu Pichu, Lake Titicaca and La Paz and fly from there to Santiago. I just hope the weather cooperates! I strongly recommend the trans-Pacific repositioning cruises...read our most recent blogs for the details.
I'm surprised that you could watch the games live... During our recent cruise from Honolulu to Sydney, we went without cable TV and internet for most of the trip.
I didn't know that they served beer at Mass... just kidding. I'm reading about your cruise since my wife and I will being going on this cruise (or something similar) next year...doing an RTW including the Silk Road and Baltics this year.
Brrrrrrr!!!! Wonderful pictures of your trip. Just wondering how many layers you had on???? Makes our chilly weather here in FL seem warm. Can't wait for the home picture show. Safe travels.
belt size Hello Chuck, Bob says that once you go south of the equator you expand. It will contract when you come back north. I, on the other hand, say you must know that there is a gym on that ship. :)
Temperature ?? Hey Chuck....what's the temperature outside? I know it's Antarctica but you als are just along the edge...so I imagine you are experiencing big swings...??
Great photos!

Almost Like Being In Love WOW! These magnificent images make me want to sing: "What a day this has been. What a rare mood I'm in. Why it's almost like being in love!" You truly know how to live - carpe diem!
Shaky sunsets Hi Chuck!
I finally figured out how to send a comment via your blog. I sent one earlier to your email address. :-(
Anyway - LOVING the photos and "travelling" with you.
The sunset seemed shaky...and made me laugh picturing you holding a camera after all the beer and wine tastings!
Stay safe - and have a glass of red on me!
Melanie
