Darien Gapster/San Blas Adventures Hey guys!
First of all, what a fantastic write up! It is such a trip reading blogs about where this company started out, and the experiences that came with it. Anyway, to the point! I just wanted to let people know that the Darien Gapster has now grown and evolved in to the new and improved San Blas adventures!
We still offer the same thrilling, epic island hopping adventures from Panama to Colombia and Colombia to Panama, however now we are far more established, organised and professional. We offer 5* meals, catering to all dietary restrictions, as well as better accommodation (though still very rustic), a larger fleet of boats owned and operated by the local Kuna people, and a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and interact with the locals, spending a night in a local village.
we visit uninhabited islands, offer snorkel tours with equipment included, and of course there has to be at least one bonfire party night! We have developed a great balance of culture, environment, party, relaxation and beach time on our trips, so we have something for everyone. We welcome you all to come check it out!

Thanks for the update Thanks for the updated information, Peter! The experience with your group was one of the highlights of our South America trip, and we are so happy to hear how much San Blas Adventures has evolved since then. We hope to see you again soon!
Useful Info I'm sure you had the best time of your lives, the cholitas wrestling and the Horse back riding were AWESOME if you are reading this and you are going t o La Paz probably you'll like to have the "bolivian experience with locals", there's a page in Facebook that is useful and the owner is a local that speaks English Spanish French and Italian and will take you through paths that lonely planet or other guides wont, It's called "Tours and something else" Hope this is useful for travelers. https://www.facebook.com/ToursAndSomethingElse

Sounds like you are having a ball in SA and making the most of every experience. Your blogs are great and it's really nice to read through them as they trigger some brill memories! I want to go back - ahhhh!! I bet ye're loving the Spanish as well. We continued to take lessons when we came back 'cos we enjoyed it so much when we were there. Loved the pics of the Salt Flats. We didn't get rain when we were there so it's cool to see the giant mirror effect!
All is well with the Mannions. Ma and Da keep an eye on your blog and enjoy hearing about all your adventures. It's wedding fever at the mo of course so Mam is very excited about that! If you happen to be on this side of the world in July we would love to see you in Kerry for our wedding. Although I imagine you have still have lots more to see in that spectacular part of the world.
Continue to live life to the full and savour every moment.
Take care,
Linda and Ger x

The Pig It was all in his eyes Lauren. I've seen a few pigs in my time; happy ones, sad ones, indifferent ones - many, many pigs. Trust me...this one was evil. You wouldn't want to as much as turn your back on him.
Hope you're great! Countdown to your big day...; )
