Hello from Ottawa, Canada...
You have many other fans here who like to read your stories...
Good luck for the rest of the trip, you're getting closer to Singapour everyday!!!!
Absolutely Amazing I thought you were going to quit once you reach the Pacific in China
This is really amazing. Stay healthy and strong. BTW I hope you will still be able to have kids after all that bike riding.
finally caught up! After about 3 weeks reading this journal, I've reached todays date. I feel like I have been cycling with you guys...albeit 5 years ago! Good stuff.
fantastic ..this is just such good reading, I can picture wherever you are. Thanks for cheering up a cold and miserable Cornish day! Look forward to more

keep doing this, for the benefit of humanity Andy,
i have been addicted to your memorablog. your blog has become my favorite procrastination reading material. please write the other journals and looking forward to the "where are they now" entry,
balint (from budapest)
u r a master story teller ! Hey Andy, Read u all the way till now. I appreciate ur guts and enthusiasm. You are a great traveller and a master story teller too. great going. awaiting ur next episode.cheers.
Things are really heating up, in more ways than one. I'm still lovin' the blog, and I think you've all acquired fan status long ago.
Also, I like your idea of a memorablog site. If/when you get it off the ground, I can blog a written travel journal from 2000, to help get things going. If your site gets becomes successful, you may be surprised at the amount of income such a site can produce.
From the author - BIKEPACKER Wow! I didn't realise you'd be so interested???? I've had a few mails concerning the loss of Scott - he's acquired fan status it seems. Sorry Bob about the comment that we wouldn't hear from Scott for a long while, hope it didn't spoil the suspense too much. That bit was added by me the other day and I shouldn't deviate from the original journal - you're right! However, I can tell you that there are a few surprises and that things don't go as planned - there are still troubles ahead.... So, I hope you enjoy the rest of the story of the bike odyssey. And Thanks again for the kind mails. ANDY (Bikepacker)
About Scott Is that the way it was written in your Diary? I think a bit of the suspense is now lost as we now know he is out of the picture. But of course I'll still read as this is the best bike read that I've ever come upon.
Dont go home Hiya mate, been checking ya blogs and you say you cant imagine life back home. Wel I travelled for 12 months with my girlfriend and I cant begin to tell you how hard it is to settle back into normal life!!!! KEEP TRAVELLING
Andy
Still here Still enjoying been away to Thailand so not been following. just booked to go back to thailand again in May. am going to enjoy your time there.
What an absolutely wonderful journey! And awful in some ways! In Stockholm right now the north wind is blowing, its only a few degrees below zero, but I cant see myself camping even outside my own apartment.
I hope you made it, if it was important to you. I will keep on reading, (although I should be working). To me, the most fascinating part is not the hardships in Russia or the desert, but how you all get along on the road. I guess thats real travel experience to me! And good luck on future travels, alone or in equally good company.
Wow! Hey, I love reading through the other blogs and until now have never felt the need to write a comment, but can I just say WOW! You guys are the ultimate adventurers!!
Hi! I'm Andy Ganner, known as the "BIKEPACKER". Meaning I put everything on my bike; tent, cooker, clothes, food, tent, and sleeping bag... and just set off on an adventure.
Been doing it nearly 20 years and have hand-written journals for every trip from my RTW backpacking trip of 1986, up to present.
Over the next years I'll be publishing my "Memorablogs" of these trips. It will take time as there are many slides to scan, I only went digital in 2009.
You can already read the epic England to Singapore trip: 2001 a Bike Odyssey, now. It's all there, word for word from my written jour... full info
