These first two weeks have been a whirlwind of experiencing my new home, friends and culture. Waking up to a small breakfast (something I am not used to, as I love big breakfasts consisting of fruit, yogurt, granola and nuts). Here breakfast is normally a little piece of toast and fruit. Spanish classes at 12:25-1:55 everyday for the first two weeks and afterwards a big lunch. Balthazar was a wonderful restaurant right off of a street called Avengida Diagonal. It looked very fancy, but I have a 3 course meal for 9.8 euros. Dinner is served at 9pm, a little late for my taste, but it is always delicious. My host mom, Angela Tost.
