1) I do not think American students value education in the same way in ancient Egypt. I believe this because in ancient Egypt they valued it as it being not for everyone and we just take education for granted now because it’s free. 2) Historians may learn from this text that scribes maybe treated just as kings and queens were treated and given a lot of respect and responsibility because of what they know. 3) Learning to write offers an easier and better life for the educated. The advantages of a scribal position are having servants, power, money, land, respect, and also having a good life. 4) The timeless frustrations of a teacher that are evident in the text is that trying to motivate students into learning more.
