1) Pericles describes democracy as the government not being run by few but by many and their government welcomes and honors talent in every branch. This means that they welcome those that have creative ideas.

2) Pericles says to be a good citizen if you do not bring up a topic you are a useless citizen and if you do not discuss things that are important then they will never get done.

3) I would prefer to live as a Spartan. I would choose to live as a Spartan because they are more like a family all living as one. For example they are brought to the barracks to live together at a young age. They live in the barracks for a long time and are required to eat at the barracks until they are forty years old. I would also like to live as a Spartan because they are a well disciplined society by having all men trained in the art of war. Those are my reasons for why I would like to be a Spartan.
