Hi Lisa Hi Lisa I just saw the pictures of Morrocco. It must be fun there. My friend was born in spain. did you have fun in spain while you were there? I hope you have a good time on the rest of your trip.
Love Juliana!
WOWWW All I can say is...AMAZING..the pics are great...its so cool to see what you are doing, what a once is a lifetime chance! The kids loved their postcard and I loved mine also, Thank you for that. They were especially impressed with the Spain stamp. Sucks about the harassment for being such a beautiful American girl that you are!!I had a feeling you would get some butt pinches. Well as always we miss you and look forward to your next blog!
Incredible What incredible pics. An adventure of a lifetime. The phone call you made to me, well, the charge just came through. It was $55.92, soooooooooo, try not to do that again unless it is an emergency. Phone cards are much, much, much better. Keep the blogs comin' and enjoy. Love to you and Laura.
AWESOME AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a beautiful place. May the next leg of your journey be as exciting. No nude beaches in Morocco, you could get yourself in trouble. Talk to you soon. Love, Mom
Ireland Were both Irish and Italian but mainly were Irish
WE've always wanted to go there it looks cool
We've heard about the Blarney Stone i didnt know about the gift of gab
Sounds cool
Ireland!! Yay! I bet you're having a blast in Ireland. I've never been there yet but Mark's family is from Cork. He's kissed the Blarney stone and is going to take me there to do it too. I'm not sure about it though as I've seen pictures and it does look like you have to hang quite a bit over the edge to do it! Yikes!!! Well, glad you two are having fun.
oh, I almost forgot... London Bridge was the next bridge up the Thames. It's really boring, normal looking bridge though. The only thing cool about it is it's history.
Hi Lisa, Nice blog and glad to hear you arrived safely. Hope you liked London. I should have told Mark to keep an eye out for you. He's been really busy working at the hospital though. That bridge in your photo is Tower Bridge and it's lovely (you can actually visit inside the tower). I see you took photos of the The Tower of London too. The Yeoman Warders (Beefeaters) and the Raven's are cool there. I wonder if you saw the Crown Jewels or took the Beefeater tour that tells all about the history of The Tower? Looks like you got to take in some good sites. I've never been ON London Eye due to the expense and you can get good views of London for free from a few other places like St. Paul's Cathedral. Oh, another name for that street performer is a 'busker'. I think that's what most British people call them at least. They are different from street/train beggars because they are performing a skill to earn donations. I got a video up on Myspace of a really cool busker singing Bob Dylan songs. Actually, Bob Dylan started his career as a busker, so I've been told. Hope you're having fun. I dont' know what you think... but, I think Scotland is loads better than England... better Fish N Chips too! But, hopefully you got to go out for a curry in London. Oh, if you are hungry and see a restaurant called Nando's GO FOR IT! It's so good.. Portugese peri-peri spicy chicken and spicy rice or chips with peri-peri spice. Best of all, they have bottomless foutain drinks... I'm sure you noticed one downfall of the UK is NO FREE REFILLS! I think they have Nando's in Ireland too. Mark is the one who got me to try it becaus they were really popular in South Africa where he grew up. I hope Nando's will open in the US someday!
Stay safe and have fun!
Tammy
Welcome to my travelblog. I am 23 and I am planning my first backpacking vacation with my best friend Laura overseas. Laura and I were both bitten by the travel bug back in 11th grade when we took a 10 day tour of Mexico through our high school Spanish club. Since then we have both study abroad in Australia, and have traveled to New Zealand and the Bahamas. This time around we are broadening our horizons with a 2 month backpacking trip through Europe. We are spending most of our time in Western Europe with a quick stop over in Morrocco. So join us May 15th in London on our backpacking tr... full info
