Here we are. We came into Vilcamamba today so that we could buy groceries at the market. As it turns out, there is a fiesta today, and there is a band in camoflauge playing marching tunes in place on the steps of the church. It almost serves as a metaphor for Ecuador. The farm is barren of vegetables, the gardens grow weeds in rows. There are a few fruit trees scattered around the property; avocado, passionfruit, mango, sour lemons, limes, sour limes, sour oranges, sweet oranges (yes, it’s a bit confusing), and hopefully piña soon. Me and chloe complete a group of 9 on the farm, but the group is not complete...Tina, the owner of the farm, is not here. Infact, we have not met her. But, all is well. The 8 of us do whatever
