Happy New Year Too!! HI
John sent me the link to your blog! it is so awesome. I am very proud of you and what you are doing, miss seeing you too.
Take care, be safe,
Jess
Bravo! Antone! Your Mom just sent me your blog. It's awesome. I lived in Bolivia and then Peru about a 100 years ago - actually in 1979 - 80. In Peru I lived in Cusco and helped form a theatre and puppet group made up of Argentians, Peruvians, a Dutch woman, and myself. We performed on the streets and in orphanages. The little kids all in their school uniforms had never even seen a play! It was incredible to enjoy their delight and laughter. You look so much like your Dad to me, and your girlfriend is beautiful! I love her new necklace - and what a pretty neck! Thanks so much for sharing these photos - a real man on a cross - wow! I will continue to follow your antics - I mean - travels. much love to you and congrats on being an obviously wonderful human being. your Mom's old friend, Cynthia
I love you I love your blog Great hammock photo by the way, you should enter that in a contest. These tastes and smells should last you a lifetime. I'm sitting in front of the fire in Wyoming with my coffee and Bob and your blog on my laptop. We're stretched out with our backs at either end of the couch sharing a fleece blanket, but this is voluntary indulgence. The first sunlight is coming over the eastern mountains and filtering through the snowy trees. This house is on the western side of the valley on stilts. The wind periodically bursts a boughful of dry crown snow and it explodes and falls sending chrystal showers. Its so hygienic, so non-tropical.
And thanks for all the fish!
Bye sweets, love to Chloe and have a Happy Christmas, G-p
love you So love the commentary;it takes me back and forward then back...and forward like travel and history should and do! keep@ it my friend, love g-p
rafting Thanks for the awwwsoome pictures. love the writing too You are good> I've taken to reading other blogs when i can't get one from you, but they don't compare. Often it's very valley girl or party boy immaturity, just looking for fun and not much else. There are a few good writers, 2 in fact, and 2 in french about iquitos that looks good for Chloe since she knows french. Spend your money on internet time, don't be stingy.
enyou reading Hallo Antone, I love reading your travel stories . It reminds me of our trip in south America . How are you doing with your illnes You never knows what it is so be careful. I''m glad you have a camera again so i can see how it looks like.

"I don't really trust him, but he has good intentions."
oh man sounds amazingly badly good in that awesome sort of way. I don't remember putting cream cheese on a hamburger and you have to explain that to me the next time we talk. german revolutionist I love it. I think I'd make a good shaman. Oh who am I kidding I'm not good at anything. I love and miss the both of you. There was some kid in Kjell's speech class who wrote a whole speech on why the davinci code isn't real. And I was just like, "dude, that's a book... I think it's fictional. You don't have to prove to me that it isn't real..."
P.S.- Don't ever go to SCAD.
it is true about the learning, you are playa. miss you. teach me how to fight htose bushes because they are fucking bringing me down in the states. everywhere i look there is one of those goddamn things. listen to olivia tremor control, if you have your ipod
i'm a tad bit jealous of you right now i just figured out you can add comments...yeah. so i just got back from the library, reading lots, college apps, sweet life. And your roaming the mountains of Ecuador, carefree. I am very jealous. Mom and I were thinking about going back this summer since my class is graduating from Colegion Americano de Quito. I wish you could have met some of my friends...Anyways, have you tried maracuja yet?? A fruit thats orangish with black seeds in it. And aren't Ecuadorians the cutest slash friendliest people you've ever met? Your blogs bring back so many memories. We will all miss you at Oma and Bobo's for thanksgiving, just won't be the same. Glad you're having fun.
Lulu
trespass, ask forgiveness later Actually I hate to trespass in the literal sense(always thought the dogs would get shot) but love trespassing in life, just got to do it, whatever it is, or life will trespass you by! Love you and the blogs. Chloe looks and sounds so much like Claren itttt'ssss uncanny. Love her too. Pooks
banos tips banos is a fun town. obviously you have to try the baths. but there are also some fancy steam baths in one of the hotels. a bit pricey ($3?) but worth it. they shove you in this litle box and crank the steam. then they take you out and pour cold water on you. when you're done you can go on the roof deck and have lunch. very nice.
also, renting a bike and biking down the crazy windy road into the jungle with the big cliff down to the river below is lots of fun. just be careful. crazy bus drivers. for a real treat, sit in the back of the bus on the way back up the potholed, muddy, twisted 1.5 lane road in the buses with no shocks. fun times! also, it gets pretty muddy so you might want to go on a dry day.
english teacher? sure, why not?
what's with all the guns and camo though? any sort of unrest you should be paying attention to?
great bus story.
Hola Antone! Glad all is well and that you are having fun adventures! Have some cuy for Jamie....his favorite ecuadorean meal! Ciao for now,
Mary
ps brush your teeth
virtual travel perhaps the horses are full of parasites. there's lots to eat right? Did you ever see a woman with a horse or donkey or beast of burden? I never did and wonder if there is a rule...Flying in the amazon? is it a virtual plane? are you going by boat? Usually country folk don't mind people crossing thier land if they don't disturb the crops or leave gates open, unless of course they're growing alternative crops...then yikes. I'm off to NY to meet Missy and the family, she is in a show right accross from the Met in the Pratt Mansion. Jos is working at Mac's Zef is into Shakespear now, memorized whole bits of it.
Love you and take care, and hows the old spanish???? Love Mom
Hey Antone I miss you. It sounds like your having a load of fun and im jealous. I've been checking my e-mail all the time to see if you have a new travel blog up... they are very exciting to read. This place in peru seems rather exciting to me seeing that no roads lead to it maybe that even means no cars which would be cool. I'm about to end the first trimester... I think ill do pritty well because ive been working hard. Im just getting into squash hardcore and shakespeare is growing on me... believe it or not i think i want to act a bit in college. By the way what how do I see chloe's travel blogs... I've tried to find them but its really hard to... im inept on a computer. I love you and will be reading about you lots hopefully

uhhh I hate that thing about those poor little fishes. What kind of monkey was it? If it was a capuchin I hope it was female because the males get pretty feisty once they reach sexual maturity. Capuchin's are organ grinder monkeys if you don't know what I'm talking about.
traveling through
ecuador and peru
is the thing to do
but
i heard bolivia is wierd.
it also doesnt rhyme with anything i dont think.
