this is another short one...so its the biggest tourist attraction in south america... we had to go even tho it cost loads!seeing as the really cool people do the 4 day trek (loads and loads of dollars) we thought we better walk at least a little bit.. there were steps up the mountain... nearly a million, and they went on forever!!!!!so getting up at 5am and walking the next 1 hour n 40 mins up the big mountain was pretty hard work..it was worth it though to see the beautiful inca city on a mountain surounded by fog.. we spent most of the day walking round the ruins and trying to listen to guides explaining what things were.. its much easier if i let wikipedia give you the history lesson.. skip if you dont care Machu ... read more

so yeah we visited lake Titikaka ... its sooo huge and beautiful! we stayed in cococabana, a small town on the edge of the lake . we went out on a peadleo! it was pretty hard work tho as the lakes at like 4,000 meters above sea level. we ate lots of trout from the lake which was amazing apart from the on the made me vomit violently all night... about a mile or so out from the town is the island of the sun it was very important to them as they also grew a lot of crops there as the lake protects it from recieving the freezing weather that affects the surrounding land. its very hilly and coverd in terraces most from the time of the incas and the two last civilisations.. we kind ... read more
