It is midday Friday - the end of a long work week full of excitement, education, and emotion. We've been welcomed in to the TASO family warmly. The people who work here are so dedicated to what they do. Each person does one amazing part of the whole machinery. Together they care for, support, treat, and counsel about 7,500 clients who are HIV positive. Staff include counselors, clinicians and nurses, field officers (who visit clients at home), administrators, cleaners, cooks, community ARV/AIDS Support Aids (CASAs), and many many more. Besides medical care for HIV, such as antiretrovirals (ARVs), which some clients receive, clients are supported and brought into the family of TASO.
