cold, brrrrrrrrrr glad you are all having a great experience.I have been to to those parts of aus that you passing through but most of the time I slept on the ground, very cold but it never rained much and I got paid,(not much),for my suffering.Near woomera is an army training area called "Alemaine,"horrible part of the country but useful for soldiers going to Iraq/Afganistan,its like the surface of the moon,"nothing".Cheers Uncle Dave
Cold cold cold Uncle Dave, thanks for your email, yes it's cold at night, -3 at Williams Creek, not so bad in the tent as it was only
-2.8. Interesting that you emailed tonight as we were talking about you earlier as that country singer at the camp site was singing about the battle of Long Tan.
Regards Michael, tiff, Ella & Abbie.
Amazing trip We have been following your adventures, and it looks like an amazing trip! We can't wait to read more.
Love, Aunty Zulu and Uncle Rich
P.S. More photos please!
Your adventure is bringing back so many wonderful memories! Thoroughly enjoying hearing about your fabulous adventures through the centre. We have many fond memories of traveling through this area. Those hot springs are amazing and thoroughly relaxing. The flight over Lake Ayre would have been great and amazing to see with water there. What was the birdlife like? Uluru is brilliant and you will love Kings Canyon with lots of fantastic climbing points and amazing views. Continue to enjoy this great adventure. Love B, H & A
Love hearing about your adventures. Sounds like you are all having a great time. travel safely and keep having fun. Love Tash,Lonny, hayley and Brayden
Damage control We hear that you should not take evasive action by veering away from an animal. If you do the impact will be on the side of the vehicle--very costly. At least you now have sunshine again and the rain has stopped???
Flying Doctor Service When Heidi was working at the Ayers Rock Hotel she would go out with the flying doctor service. She was impressed with all the crew.Noticed that Andy & Corinna's house is on the net with Ray White auction,no date.At least it's a start. Love to all the travellers Helen & Dad
A tad jealous of the White family! Sounds like you are having a fab time. Helen has just informed me that you could have borrowed our road kill cookbook!!! Helen has also asked for Mike to be aware of ping pong balls in Broken Hill!!!! Not sure what she means! How is the camper going? Where are you now? It is an amazingly vast country with so much to see and do. Look foward to your next blog Abbie. Alexander is in Sydney with his Aunty Cate and Uncle Steve. Today he spent the entire day at Luna Park, enjoying every ride. Tonight he is out for dinner 'pancakes at the Rocks' and tomorrow a 3 hour whale watching tour. An action packed few days. I will let him know about your blog. We look forward to hearing more of your wonderful adventure. Lots of love, B, H and A xxxxx
Looks good to us How much bigger is the distance you have travelled compared to Land's End to John O'Groats?
What is the price of diesel? It will be interesting to know what you eat when camping. Road kill is good if fresh!!Enjoy your experiences. Love from Nana & Grandad
Lands end to John o groats Lands end to John o Groats is 1407 km we have travelled 1235 km so not far to go. We have not yet contributed to road kill fatalities as yet.
