This past week, I took 19 of my students, and 3 other teachers, on a 4 day field trip. We left on Monday morning at 7:15am and headed in a mini-school bus down south to Mikumi National Park. When we got to Mikumi, 6 hours later, the park guides gave the students a safety briefing, while I sorted out their bandas (cabins). The kids then went to their bandas and unpacked, all the while enjoying the view from our patios, which looked directly out onto the bush: full of zebra, elephants, buffalo, you name it! After a little break time, we hopped back into the bus and went on an afternoon game drive.
