In Chile after you buy your boleto to your movie of choice you then select your seat. The man behind the counter then directs your attention to a diagram of the theatre with rows, columns, and numbers. Each seat is represented by a hole with a corresponding number, and the numbers don't make sense, there seemed to be an entire row that corresponded to the coordinates 23 and 7, and it is initially confusing because the scrolled pieces of paper wedged into the holes actually represent free seats whereas the vacant holes represent occupied. This will make sense once you open up the scroll you have chosen as the scroll is a paper with the seat number written on it.
