Hey everyone I am going to go ahead and throw in a couple photos this time. Hope you all enjoy. So not really a lot to say. More museums, more festivals, more crazy Russian people! So small feature of this city. Everyone smokes, well basically everyone, and they don't think it's worth investing in ash trays. At the same time they really don't like to litter. The result? Hey hey hey, so it has probably been too long since my last update so there is plenty to cover. Okay first and foremost, last Sunday I went to the Hermitage museum on a tour with my group. It might of actually bee the coolest and oldest building I have ever been inside. Well actually it is made up of several buildings, one of which is the winter palace the former home of the Czar and his family. Which means I got to see the throne room which was insane. Basically everything was leafed with gold. Eventually we got to the art gallery and while I am definitely not a connoisseur I was still really something to behold. Hey everyone, its been an odd couple of days to say the least! I just got to my host's home and am getting settled. I spent the first two days here at a really nice hotel getting used to the climate and figuring out the do's and don'ts. Not too much to share at this point but we went on a bus tour of the city and I have to say that as you get closer and closer to the city center everything becomes really extraordinary.
