Wet-set Glynn

And this is the result!!

Water demons

this Chinese lass was a little devil, spraying everyone with water and making sure Glynn got as wet as she did.

Even Jish got his fur wet with a bit of water-jet surfing.

Here's Glynn with the demon water girl and her boyfriend. She even dragged her fella in for a drenching!

Time for some munchies but what could it be that Glynn's eating? It's a sesame bun with red bean inside!

Meanwhile, Jude tucks into a battered and fried sandwich. Yum!

We stumbled across this Batman logo being used for the Bad Boy hair salon. Nice!

Chinese Architecture

this is a Chinese style hitel building next to the south gate fo the Xi'an city wall. I though it was quite a nice break from the galss and steel modern buildings everywhere else.

these pretty turrets are dotted around on the Xi'an city walls.

Artists' Quarter

Near the city wall south gate is an artists market with lots of these curious little shops.

Not sure our house will be big enough for one of these!

Backstreets of Xi'an

A typical Chinese back street just around the corner from the artists' quarter.

The Bell Tower

This is the view from our room at the Bell Tower Youth Hostel. And that's the bell toer on the left!

Here's Glynn trying not to shop till he drops in the market in the Muslim Quarter.

Apparently even fairies get the horn...our favourite food name so far in China!
