Hello
Well we have landed in Thailand and survived two days in Bangkok (miracles do happen)!!! We are meeting up with our friend from the Kiwi bus this evening and we will travel up north by train to Chaing Mai. Now we are in Thailand it feels like we are on the other side of the world, everything is so different people shouting and grabbing (unfortunately we really do stand out) but its great fun to see something that is so different and try to fit in!!!
So far we haven't done any of the major sights in Bangkok as we will do them with her however, we have been driven around in a Tuk Tuk for around 3 hours which cost us the grand sum of 25p!!! It is very strange converting everything over and seeing how cheap things are you do have to step back every now and again and realise that you are arguing over 50p!!! Today we went to one of the shopping Malls and sorted ourselves with Thai sim cards and new camera's!! Done a bit of market shopping as well so we definately look like tourists!!
