Hey all,how things??? Sorry its been a while but when the sun is out and the ocean is clear it's a BIG NO NO to sit indoors on a computer !!! We finally got the strength and decided that it was time to leave Goa,as if we didnt we would really have not seen anymore of the beautiful coast...Time is ticking and our flight out to Bangkok is nearing,21st October!!! We had a beautiful time in Patnem,south Goa!!!We met super local people who we will definitely keep in touch with and who have all offered a bed next time we decide to come visit...Our next stop was in the next state south of Goa called Karnataka.We boarded our train,just sitting with the locals and can you beleive that our 115km trip cost only 15Rs per person,thats equal to about 25 pence,unreal!!!! We arrived at Om Beach late afternoon and found a place to stay called Namaste Cafe,not too bad,got a small bungalow with bathroom for 300Rs per night (4GBP)..Its really beautiful here,nice long beaches and waves that can be surfed...The letdown however was that there is nothing around,no local shops ect etc...if one is looking for that its a 6km walk to Gokarna town,sucks!!!This means that the cafes and guesthouses can charge a much higher price for food and drinks as you are forced to have them there...We did alot of walking along the diffirent beaches in the area,namely Kudley,Paradise and Half-moon,stopping at various watering holes for a quiet one!!!The weather was not all that good,so after 5 days it was time to pack up and continue south,this time into the state of Kerela and to a place on the coast called Fort Cochin,famous for these crazy looking chinese fishing nets and the backwaters which branch out into the mainland...As soon as we leave here,which is 20th Oct,i shall post more pictures and update all youz on our final days in Incredible India....Much love B&L x
