It's got a big Buddha and is the largest wooden building in the world. Put your matches away.

The huge station in Kyoto, stetches over about ten floors, most impressive.

Watch the tatami

Our Ryokan room, I made a bit of a foobar by nearly stepping on the tatami in my slippers, a BIG no-no apparently.

Nice, course 4 of 16, a bit of fermented sea cucumber belly, you really should try it you know, you really should.

I kept looking at the red and white towers expecting to see Godzilla come crashing towards them. Maybe it was his week off?

Rubbish Tokyo Disney

Too many people and the smallest world ride was closed, pah! It wasn't the happiest place on earth for me that day.
