I think I'm less crazy but really wet

Things are going better now. I got used to Hanoi and actually started to like the city after a few days. We met a nice guy named Anthony who sold us a used motorcycle. The bike is called a Minks and it is an old cool looking Russian bike. We went around town and bough enough stuff to feel safe on it and then we hit the road. We started east towards Halong Bay. We arrived here today after two days of driving. It was a long wet drive and we were glad to have the waterproof clothing. My backpack did not fair very well the first night, and had to be washed as it was covered in dirt.
After washing the backpacks and having a dinner of goat we found a hotel and heading east again the next day. We made it to Halong Bay about 4 hours ago. We are about to get some food and get our brains together. It was been a long ride and we are famished, but it was amazing.
