Hi readers We had another early start today but this was a private tour with just the 4 of us, a guide and a driver. We learnt many things from this young man about the life he and his family have been through since the war of Vietnam ended. It got too hard to stay bending over for Pauline and much easier when she got down and crawled

And she’s gone off. Her and I both only coped with going the 20meters and had to come up the first opening. Bryan carried on

As we were walking along the path on top Sheryl stopped cause she could here Bryan talking to his guide so we knew he was still coming down the tunnel as we were sure when he would come up.

I went back down the tunnel exit to meet up with them. Bryan glad to see light

Some of the lush ground is covered with Tapioca plants where there isn’t rubber plantations. Also they grow peanuts.

After leaving the Cu Chi province we headed over to the west of the country just 30km from the Cambodian border to a place of Pilgrimage for many southern Vietnamese. Tay Ninh village.
