This is Part 2 of my 7-day trip to the Central Vietnam (from 3 Aug to 9 Aug 2012). I am facinated by the fishing boats used in this region which is round & like the round plastic colender used in the kitchen for draining away water after washing the vegetable :). Great region with unusual rock formation.

Thuyen thung (Thung-shaped boat)
These fishing boats are called " Thuyen thung" in Vietnamese (thung-shaped boat). Regretably I have not been on this kind of boat to operate it, however , it is said that with the specially-round shape, the boat is very stable on water surface during high & rough sea.
