White sand is used for cooling hot soil

On the fields of Lý Sơn island, the locals use white sand above soil to make it cooler, as it's very hot in the sun (Cát trắng dùng để phủ lên trên đất làm cho đất mát hơn trên các cánh đồng của đảo Lý Sơn)
