Traffic!!

We thought the traffic was bad in Bangkok!!.....it was orderly and controlled compared to this, its insane there are just bikes of all sorts everywhere(not so many cars just bikes and more bikes), and its incredible what they transport on them, 4 people per bike is the norm and I have seen one with a couch on the back of a scooter. The most interesting part is trying to cross the street, its amazing but the safest way is to walk slowly and at a steady space and they dodge you...we havent seen or heard of any accidents yet....after our terrible tour (see Halong bay) we managed to get a free personal tour of Hanoi city of the agency and the guy was really nice and explained a lot of things about the culture in vietnam which was a good insight.
