Stranded

We knew it was monsoon season in Asia but nothing could have prepared us for this two day trip. From getting stranded at a port on an island without knowing the name of our hotel and no show from the tour guide...to having to wade through water up to our waists we certainly got more than we thought was involved in the trip...apparently the island (Cat-ba) had never had rain like it before, so getting back off the island was a bit of a mission.

Grainne... where's the beautiful cag i lent u? seems like it may have come in handy, lol! woulda come in handy for me a few wks ago too, got totally soaked camping cos paul accidentally bought a 3-sided shelter instead of a tent, luckily craig lent me his lovely luminous blue waterproof and we managed 2 crash in someone else's leaky tent! always funny lookin bac these things tho! keep havin fun!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
