Woke up just before 9:00am today as to make sure we didnt miss pur included breakfast. After breakfast we we t up to get ready and walke up the road to the bottleshop that we had walked past a few days earlier.

When we had gone through customs from Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh the guy told us to buy our alcohol here and bring it back because it's heaps cheaper. So we did.
I bought a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka which at home would be $65 for only $25.

We then walked back to the hotel to drop that off, used the wifi in the lobby then decided as rain was predicted that we'd catch a cab to the Thang Loi hotel pool and use that instead of the Hilton because if it rains they close the pool.

Well, it didn't rain. It was freakin hot, and although slightly overcast it was as burny as hell.

Two hours there and we decided to cab it back to get changed and get some lunch. It was our last chance to get Bun Cha so we did. Still just as tasty.

Then we walked to Lotteria for a drink and icecream. Lotteria is basically McDonalds ans Hungry Jacks combined as they have neither of them here. I asked Bruce our tour guide why there was no Maccas here and he said he was told it was because Maccas likes to own the land and the farm where the beef they use is farmed, and Vietnam wont let them, so they havn't come here.

After a drink and icecream we wandered back in the direction of the shops as Jess wanted a couple of last minute things.

By this time my skin was burning up and it was time to go back to the hotel. Too much time in the sun and heat for me.

We sat watching TV in the hotel for hours because it was too hot out and we'd seen all of Hanoi that we wanted and needed. We left only to get KFC down the road for dinner and came back to eat it. We did, in our channel surfing come across the Australia Network that was playing the footy but it was the Sydney V GWS game anyway which we'd already seen the result.

We flicked back between stations before finally turning it off at 10:30pm as we are getting picked up for the airport tomorrow at 6:40am for our flight from here, to Ho Chi Minh to Singapore and finally to home.
