You can't come to Vietnam and not get the shirt!
Sniff, sniff...

The end to Vietnam is here and a new adventures in Laos are about to begin. Backpacking is so weird. As soon as you get used to being swarmed by mobs of people trying to sell you things you'll NEVER use, being honked at continueously throughout the day, and just plain old walking in the insane traffic...its time to go. Vietnam is crazy, its overwhelming at times, but having strange random things happen to us only adds spice to the mix, and honestly, the stories are what make the experience😊

So where did I leave off....In Hoi An I rented a motorbike for 3 days. Oh yes I was ripping around the city and it was super fun. Tim says they aren't motorbikes, just glorified scooters, but I swear I saw the same model I was riding on when we watched the movie Blade one night 😊

We took full advantage of the 200+ tailors that are in the area. I got pants, skirts and a few shirts made for 40 dollars. Cheap cheap cheap. If anyone is going there, I can give you the name and addy of a really great tailor. The vendors were

In Hue
a lot more aggressive, and I was forced to down more Tiger beer than usual out of frustration. You can only keep your cool for so long ya know?

After that, we went up to Hue where we stayed in a crappy hotel and got scammed on our bill. We did a day trip down the Perfume River and saw some Pagodas, but after sight seeing for a solid month, I am pretty much feeling templed out.

Then it was off to Hanoi, where we booked our last big trip in Nam, to Halong Bay. This was an awesome trip and I would reccomend it to anyone. We were on board with some really fun people, minus the 60 year old dude from France with his 20 year old escort. We hung out with a couple from Singapore, Korea, 3 awesome sistahs from Argentina, and a few Danish guys. It was a 3 day trip with an overnight stay on a really nice boat in the middle of the bay.

So here we are back in Hanoi. Despite the insane traffic and massive population I actually really like this city. Ill post more pictures later along iwth
