We did not rush to get get out of bed as it felt like we had been travelling non stop for days, which in reality it was! At around noon we headed out into the Old Quarter to further explore what Hanoi had to offer. One thing was certain, it was seriously hot and humid.

By using our lonely planet guide, we took the 'walking tour' of Hanoi which covered pretty much all of the Old Quarter. The amount of motorbike traffic in the Old Quarter was astounding and to get through it you just have to slowly meander across the road, seems crazy but they all just drift around you and no one ever stops! great system.

In the late afternoon we popped out to try the "Char Mai', or springrolls and found they were worth the hunt to find them. Then we amused ourselves until dinner time and ate in 'Little Hanoi' which was excellent. The nighttime was spent at a variety of bars and ended early the next morning, enough said!!
