Our favourite cyclo
Not sure who is happier me for getting a ride or the cyclo for getting the fare. He hasn't started pedalling yet ! Last day in Hanoi. We would have like to stay another week. We are only just starting to get to know the city and the cyclo riders us !
This morning we went to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. This is a very special place to the Vietnamese. Ho Chi Minh is a folk hero over here and even though he led a very humble life the people have preserved him and his memory as a national treasure. We spent the morning looking around the mausoleum, his house and the museum. It was very educational and well worth seeing.
Went to the Kangaroo cafe for lunch and gave the kids some culinary time out (bacon and egg rolls). Did some more shopping then hit the Dong Xuan Markets.
Got an early start tomorrow with a 6.30 flight to Danang.
More later.
