UN change of venue

Get a phone call from John this morning requesting a change of venue for our late morning beers. He is fed up watching the workmen dither on his house and needs a break. After a bit of 'toing & froing' we end up at our farm.
It looks like the January bike trip for John to renew his visa is still on and we will have to get together very shortly to sort out exactly when and where we are going. Hope things warm up a bit for that week.
When I get back to the house brother Pad is there along with thew bike that he would like to sell. I ride it over to Pak Chong for John to have a look. It is a total wreck and although John says he will think about it for a few days I think he was just being polite !
