05:30 when Jai gets up to make the rice and I brew a cuppa the water is back on and has good pressure so things look up. At 06:30 when we get up for breakfast, however, it is back off !!
I bike into Phon Thong for an internet session. Whilst updating this blog I discover that the card I use to transfer photos from my cameras to the internet isnt working. I will have to get a new one in a few minutes time and put downloading photos on hold until next week.
First stop is the ATM for some cash, then the computer shop opposite for a new card reader, two grocery shops then the big electrical store on the edge of town for a new kitchen blender for Jai's boring birthday present.
It is really hot today biking back to the village and this should be good for finishing off the rice.
I water the back garden as soon as the sun has moved off it this afternoon in case they turn off the mains water again. Whilst watering I take a good look at our papaya tree and realise just how sad it looks especially when compared to the
one next door. Definitely need a bit of Viagra !!
