The heavy rain overnight has got into our rice shed. Luckily the little bit of rice that is still there is off the ground and is fine. I wade in and scoop out all of the water and find that it is coming in from underneath. The level of the concrete base is lower than the ground outside the shed and the water has forced a couple of small holes in the concrete and the water has sneaked in that way. Will have to get the floor raised a bit after the rains have finished and it has properly dried out.
Jai's brother Pad returns our strimmer with the rice paddies all cleared now.
Jai dyes some more grass and then makes a tentative start on her mat elephant..
