We had quite a heavy shower of rain about 04:30. Could really do with it waiting until we have left to take care of the trees for us when we cant.
John visits. He is putting together a mat loom for his missus before we leave and I take him to see George's brother in law who makes the loom 'forms' so that he can buy one. He also buys a completed mat from Jai to give to his daughter as a pressie. Hope she is pleased with it, Jai was pleased to sell it !!
We both go to the farm this afternoon for the FINAL bamboo burning session. You have no idea how good it feels to be saying that. Ideally we could have done with another couple of weeks to really finish the job off but time has run out ...
In the evening I take a small suitcase of books to George to see him through the summer when he is the only farang in the nieghbourhood.
