Fear, utter fear.Fear, utter fear.
Fear, utter fear.

Ok, here I was really scared. Really scared, like my hands were shaking. Not that my elephant would slip and fall, but that she might bend down so steeply that I wouldn't be able to hold myself onto her head and I'd just fall off over the top of her head. My thighs were wrapped around her neck as tightly as I could but you know, this isn't as easy as it looks. And the thought of falling 12-14 feet off an elephant onto an unfriendly jungle floor with rocks and trees, and whatever...then the 3 hour trek and 5 hour drive back to the nearest hospital...ok just what I was thinking in this pick. I didn't fall. I'm fine. Though I was really, really walking funny the next day.
