We were a bit nervous when after a four hour bus ride through smoky mountains we were dropped off in a dusty town with not a tourist or a word of English in sight. We ended up loving our day though.we found a restaurant with a beautiful view of the river and I was quite proud of myself when I pulled out by binoculars and found a bright blue, red headed kingfisher. Then Chris convinced me to rent a motorbike! It's such a small town, with no traffic, so we felt safe we had a great time whizing around town.
