Welcome to the South of Thailand and specifically the three Islands Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and their lesser known counterpart Koh Tao. We spent time on all of these Islands and they are breathtaking! Hey everyone viewing this page!! At last we have managed to find some time to start a travel diary online, it will save us clogging up all of your inboxes with lengthy emails and we can put on some cool pictures and videos of our adventures so far ..... and trust us it has been an adventure!!! This was us navigating underwater with our compass, you have to keeo yoour arm at a right angle or you'll be going round in circles!!!

18 metres below sea level

Proof that we did it, we did a later dive to 30 metres, but with the first open water divers course, this was the deepest we could go!!!

Christmas tree worms

These were my favourites!!!! I mention them in the blog, i love the way the pop into the coral if you wave water near them, they're great

These little blighters have tiny, scratchy legs that we could feel on our hands as they tried to walk off

we lost them a few times, but managed to get a picture!!!

Angel fish

these fish are stunning, the blue is illuminous , they are pretty big (bigger then the bat fish) bigger than a dinner plate

Nemo's mum and brother... we found them

We were really lucky to see these clown fish as they are pretty rare these days in Thailand

Here he is again with another black sea urchin in the background!!

This little crab was co cute, its legs nipped your hands though

You both deserve an award for this Thai... Islands blog, your love for the place comes across strong, all pics are great, but especially the diving pics, it's gone 2am here and this is my 2nd reading, (making sure I didn't miss anything 1st time of reading) by far my favourite blog to date. Alan

swimming with sharks
hi claire and tommy just finished reading this blogg and it is by far the best. alex was in awe with the videos of you two driving and as when he saw the one with the shark he couldn't believe it. oh thanks for the presents they were all lovely, well kep safe on yor travels awaiting the next part,its all been fantastic!!!
