jung ceylong mallWe woke after having a good sleep with awesome pillows! J We headed down to one of our pools where breakfast was being served. It looked like most people paid to have breakfast included in their rooms as they were all having the buffet which separately cost 600 baht!! Thats like 6 lunches nooo way! So we ordered something lil from the menu and enjoyed it in the sun by the pool then found our posies for the morning sun. We swum and attempted to get our tan on for 2-3 hours. It was sooo nice being able to finally stop and relax!! Bliss! And no rain – yet! After 2-3 hours we decided to relocate to pool #2 and order some lunch. On the way to the pool I looked at my left arm and realised that I was incredibly burnt! Which was crazy cos I had lots of sunscreen on and we weren’t there that long really! I blame London!!! Anyway so i found an umbrella to lie under for lunch and lathered up with loads of sunscreen! Not alot of option for lunch so we ordered a club sandwich and shared it. Pretty good J
Cos I
was so burnt we decided to head back inside at about 2pm after lunch, get showered and head into Patong Town where there was a big mall called JungCeylong. It was pretty massive and there was a lot of food options, expensive clothes and cheap things. Mum bought a few things and I got a pretty cool anklet with my name written on a piece of rice in it J I stocked up on some aftersun which was desperately needed at this stage as as the night went on the more lobsterish i started looking and was in a decent amount of pain! We had dinner at a place called Wine Cellar. I had an awesome caeser salad which I haven’t had for ages so it was really nice and refreshing!
We had a wander outside and saw again millions of massage places and markets. All of which were saying “lookie lookie” which cracked us up every time! We chose a massage place decided to get manicures and pedicures. Mum got a pedicure and I decided I couldn’t handle having my feet touched so got a manicure. The lady was actually not amazing and a bit lazy so my
first manicure ever wasn’t outstanding! But meh! It was cheap. Mum was stoked with her bright blue toenails! J
By this stage i was really hurting and my sunburn was not good so we caught a tuk tuk back to the resort, i had a long and painful hot bath and we headed to bed. Awesome day despite getting so burnt! Tomorrow I will be banned from the sun i think!
