Hey everyone....so now i'm in the south of thailand ready for some r and r..i know you may think that travelling and sohpping are exhausting...but it is!

anyways my last day in kanchanaburi we went to hellfire pass and to erawan falls...hellfire pass is a part of the burmese-thai railway the japanese constructed during the war using prisoners of war...very sad...very edeucational...really glad i got to see it...erawan falls is a beauitful 8 teired waterfall which is absolutely breathtakeing but when you swim in it the fish come and suck on you and its really gross and freaky and i dont like it!

after that we took a sleeper train to surat thani which is in the south of thailand...we stayed over night in these jungle huts in khao sok national park...we went on a canoe trip (i didn't canoe this thai guy in the back of the boat did.. quite leisurly...) and then we went to a monkey temple and fed monkeys! it was so cool they would actually smile when we gave them the bananas ...sooo cool.... anyways the place we stayed at had a pet monkey which was cool until it jumped all over me...but it was cute4 so i forgave it and took pictures.....and then i just went to be so early last night i was just absolutely exhausted....tonight we're going to phang nga and this is a muslim island where all the houses are on stilts ...i'll let you know how that is when i get back

i'm having agreat time and i'm gonna spend some serious time working on my tan!

lots of love
