Koh Tao

We left Pha Ngan at 10:30 with a lift to the ferry port on the truck which is where we met Mellisa and Jim who are also heading to koh Tao so we spent the journey here chatting about travelling, they have been away for nearly a year and have been to South America, Oz and NZ Malaysia and now Thailand.

Pete had decided to do his open water diving after all so the first task was visiting the dive schools to find one he trusted. Again we had no accomodation booked and figured we could always just sleep on the beach!!! Pete settle on Coral grand divers which seemes really good the instructer we chatted to was english and is thinking of going to Plymouth to do her Master. They are a 5 star resort with georgus facilities, we had assumed the cheep diver accomodation was somewhere else but it isn't it is here. For 300 Bhat a night we have 24 hr electricity, a fan and a nice room, a horrizon pool and a nice bar, free towels for the beach sun lounger its wow!!! All I need is a bit more sun.

There weather so far has been great no reall rain however today the heavans have opened and its pooring. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. We are here for 2 more days pete has one more diving day and then we are off for a days snorkelling so I can see some fishes!!!

Next it is Koah Sok rainforest which will be good a change fromt eh beach, We'll try and update then. From now on we are on the mainland so will have internet.
