We left for koh Phangan on the 27th November and ended up having to do a Visa Run on the 29th November. This meant that after spending 12 hours on buses and boats to get to Koh Phangan we had to do a round trip to Burma which takes 24 hours. You have to leave Thailand after 30 days and come back in to get another 30 day tourist visa. We got a night ferry which took 7 hours and then had to get a mini bus to the border of Burma. We thought we were going to die cos the driver of the bus was doing about 120 miles an hour passing out trucks and everything. Then we had to get a boat to Burma which took about 40 mins and get our passports stamped again and come back to Thailand again. Had to stop in Ranong to get our passpors stamped to say that we are entering the country again (all the hassle like) When we at immigrations in Ranong 2 police trucks with cages at the back pulled up and it was just packed with people. There were like animals all squished together. It turned out that they
Burma Immigration Office
In the middle of the water ! were illegal immigrants from Burma who came to Thailand to work and got caught and they were being sent back. It was horrible to see and I think they get treated really bad once they go into immigrations. We just went onto the minibus again for another death wish and back to the ferry. We were wrecked after all the travelling but we had to do it.
Stayed in Koh Phangan for over a week. We stayed the first night in Ban Tai cos it was close to the ferry port. It turned out that there was a half moon party in the jungle near us that nite so we went for a look. It turned out to be a massive rave in the middle of nowhere. You should have seen the heads at it ha ha. Then we stayed at Haad Rin for the rest of the time. The Full Moon Party was on the 6th December. At first we didn't think it would go ahead cos there was a storm all that days and the waters were really rough and the beach was closed. It cleared up as the day went on so it happened after all.
As you can see by the state of us in the pictures we had a great laugh. There are UV Lights all over the beach so you can get tattoos done in illuminous coulours. We bought our own colours and painted each other instead. Sarah ended up painting half the beach and at one stage there was a queue of people waiting to be painted. There was just thousands of people from all over the world dancing on the beach and music belting out from all different bars. Buckets are all the rage in Koh Phangan. They are full of a nagan of vodka a can of coke lethal red bull thats illegal in some countries and a load of straws so we drank them for the night!! Well we only managed about 2 cos they blow the head off you !! Spent nearly the next 2 days recovering after the buckets.
We went to another part of the Island called Had Yao. This was really quiet but the beach was lovely. We only stayed one night here cos it was way too quiet for us. We got to watch the Man U match alright so that was
ok. What was the score again oh yea they won 3-1 ha ha !!!! We were going to head to Bottle Beach on the same Island the next day but someone said it was closed so we just jumped on a ferry and came to Ko Samui.
ko Samui is brilliant. We stayed on Chaweng Beach for 2 nights and we found a brilliant Irish Pub called Tropical Murphys. There is a Macdonalds and Tesco and everything here. Its much more built up than any of the Islands we have been to so far. There is loads to do here. There is a Giant Buddah and a Temple and they are georgous. Today we went and played football golf. Its just the same as Crazy Golf but you kick a football around instead. It was a great laugh and I beat Danny by one shot, YES !!!!!!!
At the moment we are staying in a five star hotel with a jacuzzi on the Balcony and sun loungers and everything. Sure ya have to treat yourself every now and then !! Even see the swans that were on the bed when we arrived !! They are not real ha
Thai Boxers
Went to a fight night and these were all the fellas before the fights ha !!!! Its only about 80euro a nite between us. Imagine gettin something like that at home. Danny is after burning one of the mahogony dressers with a fag so we are legging it as quick as we can in the morning. Weather is really scorching here. Bought a new camera in Ao Nang for nearly 200euro and it was in my bag and something must have been leaning on it and now the screen is smashed. We can still take photos but we cant see what we are taking ha ha !! We threw away the guarantee aswell, typical Danny and Sarah ! Were trying to pretend to one shop that we thought the card to register the camera was the guarantee so they are going to get onto Bangkok and see what they can do for us. Fingers crossed !!
This typing is thirsty work so we better head for a beverage now. There are a live band across the road and they sound brill so we better make an appearance.

Hi guys, good to hear from you. It looks and sound like you are having a ball! What's the plan for Xmas? Hey Danny,, It's strange the things you do when drunk. Not so strange to hear Sarah beat you in football!
