The guys and girls in the sea. Water Temp is 31c!
So it was back to the party island of Ko Phagnan for the full moon party. We arrived and the girls had done well finding us some accommodation. We were greeted by the owner of the bungalows
who we called mama and her children, she showed us to a lovely little bungalow with lovely sea views and palm trees all around. Although the bungalow was quite
far from Hard Rin where the Full Moon was to be held as everywhere was booked out, it would mean at least we would be able to sleep when we got back and Mama would sort us out a cheap taxi. We were very much
like her children as we were the only ones staying there as it was low season, and she cooked us some great food.

So the actual full moon day had arrived, it was time to see if it would really live up to all the hype, and to party like weve never partied before. We started drinking at Mamas and then headed of to the party,
the road to the full moon party was extremely undulating with massive up and downs, at somepoints the climbs were so severe that

we actually wondered if are taxi would actually get to the top of some hills even in 1st gear!!

We arrived in Hard rin and the pre parties were in full swing, the bars around the town leading to the beach were packed to bursting point. We finally made it to a bar called Same Same bar, which is infamous with anyone thats
been to Thailand. As everyone probably has a same same T shirt which was bought from a rip off T shirt stall somewhere in Thailand. It reads same same on the front and but different on the back. It was here that we started to get
into full swing with beer towers flowing well and we even found Nemo, check out the pictures. After spending some time here it was off to the beach to the main party. We had to avoid the already wasted people that were littering the
streets leading to the beach, there nights were already over so early!! The beach was manic, all the beachfront bars had massive walls of speakers that pointed over the beach towards the sea. The sounds from
all the bars was extremely loud and you had to basically pick a spot were you could hear the music that you liked. This was because as you moved between the bars along the beach it was extremely hard to distinguish between the music being
played as they all seemed to mix into one and course a massive cross mix which sounded awful.

We stayed on the beach all night with the 1000's of other people dancing to the music and drinking our buckets. we watched the sunrise in the morning like all good full moon party goers should and thats where our full moon ended, we had done it, the full moon was conquered! another tick
on the long list of experiences on our round the world trip done. We couldnt help thinking to ourselves that half moon seemed so much better, perhaps it was the fact that the half moon had one sound system, and everyone was in the same area rather than spread out over the beach.

Whilst on the island we took advantage of hiring a jeep, of course Mr Petrolhead was nominated driver plus the fact I was the only one old enough! The cost of this was a similar cost as a taxi ride to hard rin. It was nice to get out and about on the island and actually explore yourselves rather than having
to go everywhere by public transport, and being restricted to the main tourist routes.

Whilst on the island it was here that we actually watched the much needed comeback of Sir David Beckham, to try and save the waste of space manager that is Steve Mclaren. Sure enough Davy B had a blinder, take note Steve if you play Crouch there is only one player that will get the ball on his head!!!

So we now say goodbye to final goodbye to Thailand as we head south to Malaysia to the city of Kuala Lumpur, still with the Danish girls Amailie and Josie in tow, it seems that we are unable to get rid of them!! ;-)
