Scooter crash :(

4 stitches in my knee, lots of road rash on my back, arms and foot. I was asking for it, I was riding with no shirt, shorts, sandals and no helmet. I'm lucky that it wasn't worse.

I slid out coming down a a steep gravel hill, something that was more suited for a dirt bike. Luckily a couple of Thai guys working at a near by resort picked up myself and the scooter and drove us back into town. Nothing like the blazing hot sun beating down on a bunch of open cuts!

I went to the hospital where they stitched up my knee and cleaned my road rash out with Iodine(?) I think. Either way, it hurt like hell and I wasn't able to sleep for the next few days. Wounds are healing nicely now but it did put a damper on the last week of our trip since I was limping around and unable to use my right arm for anything.
