We managed to make it to the Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok to do some shopping. What a gong show! This market is 35 acres and has over 15,000 shops. We got there at 6am to beat the heat and the rush.

The market has, food, clothes, animals, handicrafts and electronics. Probably more, I'd imagine you can buy *anything* there. Prices were the best as well, lots of locals shop at the market so the asking prices are quite fair and bartering can be kept to a minimum.

I'm sad to say we only scraped the tip of the iceburg. We spent a good 7 hours at the market and dropped around $300 CND between the two of us. My knee was about to explode and we were dripping with sweat so we booked it to the Sky Train and back to our hotel.
