After 4 days of basically hanging out at our resort and walking over to adjacent beaches we decided to rent scooters. Renting scooters was great, we were able to explore the entire island and zip around at 60-80km/hr.

First day went went for a buzz into Thong Salad, we ran into Carl, Fiona and Suzan who we had met in Chiang Mai. We followed them for an adventure to a beach on the North East side of the Island. I think it was called "Thong Nai Pan Yai". If you can manage to get to it, it's amazing. The beach is white sand and the water is crystal clear light blue. We went swimming which was wicked, the water was clean, the bottom was sandy and the temperatures were perfect.
