The kids are done with the diving theory now and are ready for the ocean dives. In a few days we will all go out with the boat diving. I’ll be doing navigation and buoyancy control as well as Deep Dive, Fish recognition and a multilevel/computer dive. They don’t have any wrecks reachable during this season and no Underwater Scooter either so I will save those for some other time.
Tomorrow we will move into our new apartment and will have internet around the clock as well as over one hundred TV channels and free coconuts 😉 It will be good to settle down for real even if it puts us another 2 minutes away from the beach. A nice good kitchen and 2 rooms as well as 2 bathrooms.
The kids will be picked up from school or will need to drive their own motorbike, probably a little bit of both.
The stomachs are stabilizing and we have built up some pretty good chilli resistance now so I’d say it’s all going pretty smoothly.
More tourists are starting to show, probably can’t even imagine how crowded this place will be in a couple of months.
Nice change from the dead calm that surrounds the island now during low season, even if I am sure I will long for these quiet weeks after a while.
The Tuc-Tuc’s of the island are home made add-ons to the standard motorbike and actually illegal. Doesn’t seem to bother anyone though, and strangely enough it seems more illegal for foreigners then for local Thais during the occasional police checks.

Underbara foton Casparis. Vad hade du för kamera nu igen? Å kul att ni har börjat dyka, det är underbart. Har testat några gånger och det är en underbar känsla att kunna andas under vattnet. Själv så har vardagen återvänt här med jobb varje dag. Avundas dig!! :-) Ha det gott!!
