Koh Lanta

Koh Lanta was only a short 2 hour journey away and a German lady we chatted to one night highly reccomended it so we decided to give it a go. We stayed at a nice place next to the beach for the first 3 days and hired a bike and drove right down to the bottom. We thought Koh Lanta offered some of the best food we'd had so far, we found a nice little Tapas restaurant called Red Snapper which was set back in what seemed like a jungle and when the food came out, heaven! We were going to leave after 3 days but we wanted to find this resort called Langham place which was highly praised on tv ads there. On the second day went out on the bike to try and find it and have some lunch and when we did we just couldn't believe it. It was so nice we changed our minds and booked 3 days with them pretty much straight away. This was not just only the nicest place we have stayed in on Thailand but the nicest place we have ever stayed. If stunning sunsets, great food and relaxation are your thing then this is definately the place for you
